About the Association
Part of what the Association is trying to bring back is class reunions. Some have tried their own reunions and are not always successful. We would like to renew your ties with SHC and never forget your classmates. Also, we would like to eventually work our way into planning gatherings for our Alumni in the United States. These would be by region since they are all spread out throughout the continental United States.

The Alumni Relations Office maintains communication between Alumni and their Alma Mater. Communication will vary from newsletters, invitations to participate in activities on campus, information on alumni activity and help alumni in any way.

The Newsletter will serve as a communication network where everyone can communicate with each other or announce your success. You can also use this as a source for getting in contact with others and finding out how classmates are doing.

All graduates are invited to become a part of the Alumni Association. Even though everyone is automatically in the Association upon graduation, it helps to have everyone’s updated information. Membership is free. Once things are more settled and the opportunity exists, we can coordinate more activities and programs geared for recognition of all our Alumni. Part of this plan includes a type of a lifetime achievement award for SHC Alumni.

If you know of anyone who around who is an alumni, invite them to be a part once more.

One thing we are trying to do is have an annual banquet as a reunion. During the banquet, an award will be presented to the Alumni who has given much support to the school and the community. This would be a result from nominations given by alumni and selected by a committee of alumni.

We can also use your help. If you wish to donate to the school in anyway possible, please contact us, or send your donation.
